National Capital Therapy Dogs, Inc. (NCTD) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit serving members of the Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, MD metro areas in hospitals, schools, assisted living homes, shelters and residential programs. NCTD is an independent, all-volunteer organization founded in October 1990.

Javits Convention Center on October 17, 2010 in New York City. “Meet the Breeds” is hosted by the American Kennel Club and Cat Fanciers Association, and 160 dog breeds and 41 cat breeds were presented this year.
